Willkommen bei der ESRM

Eine Quelle für die Kunst 

November 2016 

Unter diesem Motto gestalteten Schüler der ESRM zwei große Hassia Flaschen, die vor der Schule feierlich am Donnerstag, 17. November 2016 aufgestellt wurden.

Die Flaschen mit einer beachtlichen Größe von etwa drei Meter sind die neue Attraktion vor der Europäischen Schule Rhein Main. Auch in der Stadt Bad Vilbel sind noch weitere Flaschen bemalt und aufgestellt worden.

Hintergrund der Aktion war eine kreative Idee des Kunstvereins Bad Vilbel, der in diesem Jahr sein 20 jähriges Jubiläum feiert. Unter dem Motto „Kunst muss für alle erlebbar sein“ organisierte er diese Aktion, an der 30 Flaschen von Bürgern und Institutionen der Stadt Bad Vilbel bemalt wurden.

Christy Chambers, Kunstlehrerin an der ESRM, zögerte nicht lange und nahm sich dieses Projektes an. Sie castete eine Gruppe von 12 Schülern der Klassen S2 bis S5, die nun die Aufgabe hatten, zwei Flaschen aus witterungsbeständigem Kunstharz mit Acrylfarbe zu bemalen. Dabei wurde die eine Flasche im Sinne der Europäischen Farben blau-gelb gestaltet und die zweite Flasche mit Motiven, die einen Bezug zur Schule haben. Gemalt wurde in den Produktionshallen der Hassia, da nur dort die Raumhöhe ausreichend für die Höhe der Flaschen war. Hier hatten die Schüler sichtlich Spaß und das Resultat kann sich mehr als sehen lassen.

Die beiden Flaschen wurden am 17. November feierlich mit einer kleinen Pressekonferenz öffentlich geehrt. Laudatio wurde gehalten von Tom Zijlstra, Direktor der ESRM, Günter Hinkel, Geschäftsführer der Hassia und Herrn Liebermeister vom Stadtmarketing Bad Vilbel. Alle lobten die bunten und kreativen Flaschen der Schüler und überreichten kleine Präsente an die Schüler.
Zu bewundern sind die Flaschen rechts und links vor der Schule – Nähe Kreisel und am Ende der Parkplatzausfahrt. Die Schule ist stolz auf ihre Schüler/innen und dankt Frau Chambers ganz herzlich für die Leitung dieses wunderbaren Projektes.

A Source for Art

Under this motto students of the ESRM designed two large Hassia bottles, which were placed in front of the school on Thursday, November 17th , 2016.
The bottles 

with a considerable size of about three meters are the new attraction in front of the European School RheinMain. All over the city of Bad Vilbel bottles have been painted and put up.
The background to this project was a creative idea of the Kunstverein Bad Vilbel that celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Under the motto "art has to be a reality for all", it organized this campaign, in which 30 bottles were painted by citizens and institutions of the city of Bad Vilbel were painted.
Christy Chambers, art teacher at the ESRM, did not hesitate and took up this project. A group of 12 pupils from classes S2 to S5 had the task of painting two bottles with weather-resistant resin with acrylic paint. 
One bottle was designed in the sense of the European colours blue yellow and the second bottle with motives referent to the school. The bottles were painted in the Hassia production halls, since only there the room height was sufficient for the height of the bottles.
The students enjoyed this special project and the results are outstanding.
The two bottles were officially honored on November 17th with a small press conference. Laudatio was held by Tom Zijlstra, Director of the ESRM, Günter Hinkel, Managing Director of Hassia and Mr. Liebermeister, Head of the City Marketing Bad Vilbel. The students were praised for their great work and received a little present.
You will find the bottles on the right and left hand side in front of the school - near the roundabout and at the end of the parking lot.
The school is proud of the pupils who participated and thanks Ms. Chambers very warmly for the management of this wonderful project.
