Dear Parents,

As the chairperson of the Parents' Association, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you! Together with my colleagues on the board, it is a pleasure and an honour to be able to represent you. It is a matter close to our hearts to support you in word and action, and to serve as an effective communication channel between your family and the school.

Our main goal, together with the school management and the faculty, is to create a happy, diverse, and innovative school environment for our children, and allowing them to flourish and develop their academic potential to the highest level.

We are very much looking forward to meeting you, hosting various events at school, and facilitating a lively exchange of ideas!

The Parents' Association is an important, well structured part of the European School system. Its focus, activities and areas of responsibility are determined by the guidelines and requirements for all European Schools.

In 2017, the previous parents’ association was dissolved and the Parents' Association in its current form was created. Currently, 13 board members and around 140 class representatives and deputies are in direct contact with the school, acting as the official voice of the parents. With the aim of further promoting a positive learning environment for our students, we also represent your interests on all committees and representative bodies under the European Schools system for Type 1 and accredited schools.

Based on a trustful relationship and a constructive cooperation with the school management, our association has been able to ensure communication between parents, teachers and the school; mediate and inform the community about all important activities and topics of daily school life. Which can be a real challenge in a school of our size, with over 1600 students.

With our Eventeam, we organize a variety of activities for the school community. In addition, we represent the ESRM parents both nationally and on a European level in CAPEEA, the European Parents’ association of all accredited European schools.
